Kaylene’s hairdressing journey began 35 years ago and she has been awarded many prestigious awards, including Technical Advisor of the year, National floor judge Australian circuit, HBWN finalist business awards and has also owned three hairdressing salons.

She is a great role model, mentor and a passionate, experienced trainer.  KL Hair Academy started as a dream 9 years ago and 4 years ago the commercial property at Islington was bought. The business is growing with a strong reputation of niche market good quality training all on a hairdresser’s perspective and a very commercial aspect.

We have no ego to our training; our philosophy is that if you become better than we are we will be delighted because somewhere along the way we helped you.

KL Hair Academy supports and trains a large area of rural, regional and urban NSW this allows many to meet with us, see our training and filter into the Islington studio training sessions.  We offer a large range of services and tools and are continually changing our programs and services to offer you up to date information and offers on hand.  Kaylene and her team are exceptional educators, who love what they do.

Many hairdressers suffer from the downfalls of low self-assurance and we believe not everyone gets it the first time. Kaylene’s personal coaching sessions are raved about people need to learn and have the opportunity to advance themselves at their own pace and learn in a relaxed atmosphere.
